Ya im definitly on the 4th Gen bandwagon now, they look awesome. I like the 2nd gens, id like to have one for offroading specifically, i just think they are put together a little bit better for that than the 3rd gens

I had an 2nd gen (01), gave it up for a little mazda because of gas, and then missed my truck so much that i had to go back, I like the 3rd Gen (06) interior muuuch better than the 01, and the Hemi is a huge plus. That being said, I wanted a 4th gen, but all I could afford is the 3rd . I do love the progress Dodge has made over the years though, it was refreshing when I went back to pick out the new truck to see that they had refined the interior a little more.

I'm not gonna lie, I got mine for looks only.

I'm not crazy about 2nd gen looks wise and I also am not crazy about the 4th gen 1500s. But I do love the new SRW HDs!

I like my 3rd gen for the ride comfort and the interior, but it wouldn't be able to follow my old 2nd gen anywhere off road. I don't have a favorite out of the two, but I know if this 3rd gen had a solid axle then I would definitely take that over the 2nd gen.

I love the 3rd gens. Specifically the 02-05 body style. When those came out I told myself that I would own one and at the end of 2004 I bought my brand new 2005 Ram. This was based strictly on looks. I still think they are the best looking, even tho I now have a 2008.
