4th gen hood on a 3rd gen?

I found this hood and it says it's for 02-08 but I haven't ever seen one before and the pics are all on 4th gens.... fake or real?

Not sure but maybe a PM would clear it up. 100% feedback for 363 reviews they must be doing something right so far BUT its been over a year since their last one as a seller.

Actually i would be cautious as it looks to be they are moving towards selling automotive parts when past feedback shows mostly jewellery related as a seller.

So a quick PM would def' help.

i thought the 4th gens had a completely different hood set up than the 3rd gens?

If you look at the hood you can see how in the front of the hood is is rounded and not flat at the end like the Gen IV I say that would work on the Gen III Ram.

the 4G OEM sport hoods wont fit a 3rg gen directly. The item listed is not oem.

This looks to be a 3rd gen hood modeled after the 4th gen "Sport Performance" hood.

Here is the 4th gen version from the same seller.

If it's as the pic shows it will work on a third gen...you can see where there's an indentation for the grill...on the 4th gens the grill doesn't go up with the hood so there's no indentation.

They wrote back and this is what they said:

This hood is designed for 2002-2008 Ram 1500/2500/3500, we use newer model to display the hood is because we don't have picture of this hood on 02-08 RAM so far.

Helllls yeah you know it. The one I finally find, that one in Lousiana, he is askin $500 fkn dollars and OF COURSE i just spent all my spare cash on headers, cutout and new muffler just a few days ago hahaha GO FIGURE

It still fairly uncommon in my parts at the moment so i can still swing by with mine without being too embarrassed of seeing a mirror image of my truck idling next to me lol. Not sure if that's the case in your part of TX but TX has some BA Rams.

Sounds like they need to cut you a deal for some pictures installed.

Pretty much every custom ram I know of or have seen, has the SRT10 hood on it or a stick on scoop to look like one lol. I haven't seen a Venom one yet. I know there's at least 4 ppl that live in town w/ a 3rd gen and have the SRT10 hood lol it's crazy! And I have a ******* truck, except it's not a hemi or a sport.
