Exhaust help on my 4.7v8

Today I had the muffler shop run dual straights out the back and it is very obnoxiously loud! The guy at the shop said he can tone it down with an X pipe. Just wanted to know what can I do to get that deep loud not loud pop I have now. I was thinking an H pipe. Any advice?https://vimeo.com/157239838

You always want to balance the system from side to side: a X-pipe or H-pipe cross-over will help balance it. As far as noise, I don't think the cross-over is going to help--maybe take out some brappy stuff.

It really comes down to what you did for mufflers. If he put two mufflers on he probably went with something short. That's where your noise is coming form.

Definitely do the cross over, maybe it will help. Not doing it is ultimately not good for your engine.

There are no mufflers just straight out the cats

Well duhhh...that's why it's obnoxious lol. Put a decent performance muffler(s) on there and it will sound better.

What you think about dynomax race bullet muffler? Have you seen anyone with it

Not personally...best bet, YouTube search hemi ram exhaust, there's literally a **** ton of clips you can go through
