Hello All!!... :favorites13:
I have a 2013 Ram Sport with the 80.4N radio (I think thats the right number). We just picked up new Galaxy 7 phones, and after pairing up... I tried listening to media from my phone via bluetooth, but I have to double my volume to even hear it. My prior phone (iPhone) worked perfectly. Any suggestions??... :hidesbehindsofa:

With the music playing, turn up the phone to max. Should just effect the media not the ringtone. You may have tried that. There also may be speed sensitive volume on the 8.4 that's happening.

Yup, get on phone and make sure volume is maxed out, you will likely on the phone get a "warning this is loud blah blah" Crank it to max, and volume will closely match the FM and such.

I should mention you have to unlock the screen to turn it to the max. Anytime you reset the phone you will have to do that again. Otherwise it's one and done I believe.

If you have the Galaxy 7 you may be better off not turning it on !!!!!!!!

Thanks Fellas..... It has to be something I'm overlooking. Narp.... My Galaxy is just a plain S7.... Not the "Note".

Thank you For the replies

If some songs are louder than others then there is a setting in the music app on the phone that will adjust all songs to the same volume.

I have a GS7 also with a 2014 8.4AN radio. I don't keep songs on mine even though I verified it works previously.

From the pull down notifications, long press the Sound icon to go directly to the sounds settings...

Then adjust the Media and other volumes (System) to find what affects the BT playback volume (I had to do this to get my phone call audio to be correct).

Beyond that, check within the app you are using for additional settings add mentioned.

Hopefully that helps.

I just got the galaxy s7 active and had the same issue. I cranked up the volume on the phone itself, ignored the stupid message about loud volume damaging my hearing (as mentioned above) and now it works great.

Damn phone can't tell me how to live
