Still new to my 2010 Ram Laramie I think it has the RER stereo with navigation and I went on a 600 mile round trip this past weekend. Everything went great except for one minor major issue....with my navigation....

The issue was when we headed home, got probably 75 miles into the trip and it lost the route completely. It showed the arrow on the map moving, but showed large loops being driven instead of showing we were on the highway. It also is still showing in the area we traveled to even though I am back home 225 miles away.

I searched and couldn't find anything really specific that pertain to this issue. I read maybe try pulling the fuse, did it, let it sit nothing....I was thinking maybe pulling the battery hookup over nite but wanted to see if anything else might help.

Is there a way to reset the stereo?

Other than that does any one know what could cause this?

Thanks

If your factory nav is anything like mine just give up on it. Over 20,000 miles and 3 years I have found it not be accurate at all. I use my portable Tom Tom with free map upgrades. Check the other threads and you will see many have the same problem.

Hi rossiskier78,

You may have a map update available on your truck--if you go to Chrysler Group | Navigation Benefits | HERE, this will link you to the navigation information.
