Ok so trying to install my 2.5" leveling kit, I was doing it by dropping one side of the front axle at a time so the spring will come right out at full length. But, my axle would only go so far. Is something holding it from going all the way? Drive shaft maybe?

Track bar, steering linkage, shocks, possible control arms. These are all things I remove or undo when dropping the front diff to install springs and coil spacers.

Dropping that **** is so easy it hurts. No spring compressors are needed for this job. Be a mech or be a *****. Shocks have to come out no matter if you use a spring comp or not. Take less time to drop those parts than to set up spring comp tool on the springs.

There you go full on right, like I want to compress a spring 3" and work with it, noda chance in hell thank you. Leave the control arms be they should be fine, I have to drop them when I do the 5-7 inch springs.

Seams today is no forum filter day, did not mean to upset you.

So do you shave it or leave it hairy? ;)
