passenger side CV axle hitting bumpstop

Hi all

I’m working on my front end and having a fun time trying to get the Passenger side CV axle removed on my 05 1500 4wd. The CV axle is seized to the intermediate shaft so the CV axle is hitting the bumpstop not letting me remove the full assembly. Anyone know how to remove the shaft without hitting the bumpstop? Thanks.

Maybe this is just something my little chimp brain can't handle without a picture but why would your cv be hitting the bumpstop? I wouldn't think that pulling the intermediate with it would make much difference.
