1999 ram 1500.. What kind of tranny do I have.

Been looking to see if it was a 46 Re, or a 47re. The reason I'm asking is so that I can do the band adjustment and fluid and filter replacement.

It is my understanding that all gas powered 2nd gen Rams have the 46re. The 47re was only for the v10 and diesel Rams as it has a different bell housing bolt pattern and will not bolt up to the v8.

Perfect. that helps me a ton, i have a repair book and i highlight everything that has to do with my vehicle since it talks about diesels and other versions as well. Thank you guys.
