Switching radio from AM/FM to cassette - How?! 1997 Ram 2500

Stupid freakin question because im confused right now.

How do you switch the radio from radio, to cassette?!

Im so confused right now. I just want to listen to my tape.

Hit the tape button if I remember correctly. Been so long since I've messed with mine.

i seem to remember it automatically switching when tape was inserted and when going to am/fm it ejecting the tape.. may very well be wrong though
