Wired and installed the driver side custom/home-made aluminum speaker pod. One down, one more to go!

I'm missing something I think.. What's the point of these?

Enclosures to hold high-end speakers. Allows for them to be positioned and aim in most optimal way. Also, looks kinda cool at night. :)

I feel like these don't work for your truck, you might want to trash them in a ups box addressed to me. [emoji6]

Brought it into the body shop to get the damage estimate done for the insurance claim. Looks like it's gonna need a new door skin on the rear drivers side.

Drove it from Idaho Falls, ID to Fresno, CA.

926 Miles one way, one stop on the way down, 17.57 MPG Avg on the way down and 15.95 on the way back, 16.67 Avg for the trip. Speed was anywhere from 80 mph in Idaho, 75 in Nevada and 65 in California. Was kinda nice to have the larger tank that allowed for the range to go on one stop. Probably could have done it on the way back also, but my wife and I decided that we didn't want to push it.

Pretty impressed with the mileage, had a load on the way back, not huge, back seat full, bed kinda full, maybe around 800 - 900 lbs of stuff.

Ride and comfort level was great. Enjoyed the drive, except for the idiots that don't know how to drive in the Sacramento thru Modesto area. Unlucky enough to hit that area at 4:30 local time, Ungh....

I washed it after it's sat around for 2 months, then went and added 30hp when I installed the MOPAR vinyls. Opinions? I'm still thinking I could go a tiny bit bigger on the fenders. The trick to lining the fender emblems up so they were parallel all the way through was simply going off the topmost portion of the front fender edging and then measuring down from the door window trim until both matched front and back, then simply copied the procedure on the right side.

(Yes, my tires and wheels still look teh-crap.) :D

:roflsquared: I wound up spilling around 12 oz of laundry detergent in the cab of my truck last night. Cleaned up almost all of it, but now my truck smells like liquid Tide. :roflsquared:
