As long as you are not over the fill line when you dump it, you should be fine. 15 ounces over full line is a ok. Dump it in. Do you have tick?

Thanks Burla. I have a m1 5w20 and m1 filter with about 800 miles or so in there. I have the random 4 second staetup tick. I will report any noticeable differences.

In less than two weeks I'll be changing the oil on the wife's 16 Challenger (5.7L ) 2nd run of Redline .
Last time it.was 50/50 RL 20wt & RL.30wt .
No tick or any loud noise .. quite & very much smooth so far ....only 8-9 k total miles ( I think )

This time I'll be pouring in another 50 / 50 mix of REDLINE 20 &30 wt

Then we are off to Panama city for 3 nights , then 5 nights @ Disney World , then 4 nights @ Universal Studios and finally two nights at Fall Creek Falls St . Park in Tennessee (tallest waterfall east of the Mississippi )
Plenty of miles to continue the plating of Molybdenum & zinc with the added phosphorus in the mix .

Just orderd a 12 quart case of Redline 0w40 on Amazon Prime. Came out to $11.50 a quart before tax.

Not bad. Best i saw for that weight in a few weeks. But a few months ago it was about $10.60 before tax.

Yes sir , it's a larger version of the RP 10-48 filter .

It was the filter P/N for the 2012 & older trucks with the 5.7L

But it fits and works on the 2013 + RAM'S with the 5.7L as well .

as fare as we know, how many are using it with success? and how similar is the by-pass valve settings ( PSI) and the flow rate (GPM) to the one that is recommended for the 5.7?

Hemi395 is using it , and I have 2ea in my shop that I plan on using on my next oci .

Not sure on the bypass psi ; however, the 2012 5.7L ( engine wise / oil wise ) is very similar to the 13 +
