I haven't put one on my Ram yet, but I had one of these one my 2006 F150 FX4 and I loved it.

It's a step up from the generic "one-size-fits-all" covers you can buy at Wally World and they look and feel so much nicer.

[emoji23][emoji16] too funny. I had it on to protect the leather during last part of installation. Forgot to take it off for pix. Edit: it fits better than most on the large wheel.. however I'm looking at the one SitKneelBend posted...
So, you dressed up your steering wheel with the silver trim but them put a cheapo steering wheel cover on it?

I'm not saying anything, I'm just sayin...

Mind telling me how you tinted your taillights and third brake light and what you used? And did the black badges come from eBay? - thanks! Chris

I have this. Affordable, durable and most importantly comfortable. Our trucks use the large size...

No problem. I really can't stand the factory slick/thin steering wheels on vehicles. This corrects that in any car.

This is going to be my next non appearance mod. I had a 15 gmc with the tailgate assist and got spoiled

Dollar for dollar I think it's by far the best mod you can do. It would be worth adding to any truck at twice the price but for $25 I really think it's a must have. A close second to that would be the blind spot mirrors since they enhnace your mirrorr rather then the TGA which adds something that's actually missing and should be there from the factory. In traffic the BSM's really do make a difference and when backuping up in tight spots.

I agree great find here! One of the first thngs I did was put a SW cover on over the hard plastic it's not leather I just picked it up from the local auto parts store for $20 but it's made a big difference. Sure you can tell it's a cover versus being leather wrapped but I don't think it's a big deal.

What BSMs do you like? Wadestar?

Any concern about BSMs on heated mirror? Longer term if I want to remove? What have you found to be the best placement for BSM?

Plasti Dip and VHT both came up in this thread. Leave paint & tint to the pros and save yourself from getting laughed at and ruining the looks of a nice truck. If it comes to taking a rattle can to a vehicle or not having the money to pay a pro and just not doing the mod then just not doing the mod is a better alternative.

However suggestions givin like the cabin air filter & back seat mod are GOOD mods to do for UNDER $100 like the op asked.

Reread the suggestions givin to the op and mull over another response. Thanks

But hey, if taking a rattle can to a nice truck floats your boat then thats cool i guess. Not my truck getting spray painted right?!?!?
untill you make my truck payment then youre wrong. in america i can and anyone can do whatever the heck they want to their trucks. i love when i see guys finding cheap ways to do things themselves. its called being self reliant

is there any instructions or a build thread for this?

I just did mine two weeks ago super easy. I got mine at amazon since that was the best deal. You don't really need instructions but you can see how it's done here: https://moparonlineparts.com/1500-cabin-filter-p-4339.html. I started with a box cutter but really needed my dremel to get all the material out. Here is the best deal I found $10 less than anywhere else https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00TMVRJWK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Yes I got the Wadestar like lots of people here. I placed them on lower outside corner of each mirror. The heat on the mirror is so low I have never heard of this being an issue. I have also not had any issues with them staying put but I have read some guys have. When cars are passing you it really does make a difference in seeing them as the pass through your blind spot in the regular mirrors.

Thanks! I have heard nothing but good things. Considering replacing mounting tape with command strip tape so if I ever need to peel I can.
