This week I installed a Volant CAI, did a led tail light swap, and I am currently working on upgrading from quad headlights to projectors with HID's.

Oh, yea and I added a tri-fold hard tonneau.

well, what did you get?

Well I was gonna save that for a reveal picture, but since you asked and I'm excited, I'm going from 275/65r20 Coopers on the stock 20" Sport rims to 35x12.5r17 Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws on 17" Method NV305 black rims. :)

How do you pull the butterfly shaft out??

Want your BW44-44 to fully lock? Contact @Brandon-w for a locking switch

i was hoping you’d help me before I destroyed the first one!

There has to be a retaining clip or screw holding the other side of the shaft from pulling out. I haven’t removed that cap yet but I’ll let you know

Got the tires rotated, changed the oil (Red Line 5w-30), changed the cabin air filter, cleaned the engine air filter, and replaced the OEM brake pads with Power Stop Z36 pads. Aside from a couple broken manifold bolts, she's running like a top!

Used mine and my trailer to help out a buddy. His trike died in mid ride and needed to be hauled to the shop for diagnosis and repair.

Love the way this thing just glides down the road, no struggle pulling a H-D trike in a 14ft enclosed trailer.

If you do decide to run any new coils I'm sure the 5100s will be long enough for daily uses. It's offroad you would see their limits hindering down travel. When/if they get installed it's easy to check, you'll either have to Jack the axle up to bolt the lower shock in the mount and that will give you an idea how much extra shock you'd need. Or the coils will slap in without needing to remove the shocks.

I can't seem to track the thread down on my phone (tapatalk sucks) but there have been a few members running stock shocks and 1.5 spacers with no issues.

I asked TufTruck for a comparison between the new springs and the 1211s, here is the response I got.

The TTC-1223VT is the taller version of the TTC-1223V and as such has the 2 different spring rates which is the variable rates. The first 2 inches is the same as the stock coil and when you begin to load the truck it will move down 2 inches to the second rate which is a 35% increase, this rate will now handle the load better. The TTC-1211 has a 50% increase rate at all times so it will handle the loads better and is our best towing coil for that reason. If you are okay with the 35% at 2 inches down from the raised position the TTC-1223VT gives you then it will work for some towing but will raise your truck 1 – 1.5 inches when empty. You may consider just getting coil spacers for the TTC-1211 if you just want a lift with a stronger coil.

So the bigger question I have is do you tow or load the truck often enough that the 2" of sag before the 35% stiffer rate engages would cause an issue? If the 1211s have you satisfied maybe a 1" or 1.5" spacer would suffice

I do think the 1223vts would surely ride a bit better, and at the length they are extended you shouldn't have to worry about losing the coils either. But the trade off will be noticeably more sag

Do the Icons have a defined sag amount before hitting the increased load coils? And from what I can see, I didn't find anywhere what the additional load carrying capacity of the Icons is, either in lbs or a percentage (other than ram1500rsm's sheet that says 50% load increase), so it's hard to do a direct comparison straight across.
