I have a 2019 Limited with all the bells and whistles. The truck has the air lift suspension and currently only has 16k miles on it. Aside from my mom having air ride on a Lincoln Continental back in the 80's I have no experience with this type of system. That being said I know that it's going to fail at some point, whether in the next 3 or 5 years, and when it does I plan to fix the air ride system as I like the fact that I can adjust the different ride heights on the fly.
Ques 1: Is there a way to have the system programmed using the OBD scan tool so I can drive with the truck at the level 1 or level 2 height?
Ques 2: Has anyone here with a 2019 truck had their system fail already and you had to replace parts, and if so what components did you have to replace?
Lastly, would it make sense to purchase new airbags and other system parts prone to fail now and store them for future use down the road, (I'm thinking the parts will cost more later or not be readily available).
Thanks for your help and suggestions.
