Pretty easy install, I just got a little nervous when i bolted everything up and it didn't drop at all lol. Its settled know and the back is still about an inch higher than the front but I think it looks good. Since I took off my airbags I can tell the back feels a little looser so I think i'll pick up a sway bar to make it tighter again. Also I want to get some wheel well liners for the back. Here are a few pics for you guys all cleaned up.

I ran the shorty shackles for about 5 years and what I think is that they being shorter than the stock shackle results in them not being able to swing as much as the OEM shackle and there is some spring binding. It is no big deal but look at them closely with the truck wieght on them and you will see what I mean. Also pull the O/L spring, mine looked like it never came in contact with the other springs. My truck felt a little tighter with the short shackles and really improved when I put new shocks on it. Good luck...

I read that if you remove the O/L spring that the truck gets kinda shaky in the back?

I don't think the O/L spring comes into play until you have compeltely overloaded the truck. The rest of the time they do nothing. They are close to 3/4 of inch thick and the truck will drop the thickness of the spring when removed. So to answer the question, IMO, BS.....

I may remove it then but I think ill wait until i get a sway bar to take it off.

yeah the OL spring never gets used unless you are under heavy load. Thats what its for, over loading the truck. It will lower you another .5-1 inch as well I think.

Just finished removing the ol leaf and it sits perfectly level now. My hands are all tore up but it was well worth it. Ill get some pics in a little bit, got to go rinse it off for the show this weekend.

Now you are talking. She be looking good sitting flat. I feel it won't be long before those shackles will be up for sale as you won't need them with a flip kit. That truck begs to be dropped.
