That looks super simple. What gauge wire and how do I seal that connection to prevent a short? No real explanation needed when you have pics. These aren't mine but I will be doing this soon. Like maybe tomorrow.

Don't have a compressor yet. Thought it'd be easier.Looks good. Why did you do the brush instead of a spray kit? I’ve used an eBay spray liner that comes with its own gun for about $120
Yeah, getting a nice 40 gal compressor for $250 from my boss once I pay it off. I could lay paint with that. [emoji41]Definitely looks messy, but you do need a decent compressor to spray stuff, so understandable
Looks good overall. Not sure why you bothered coating the tailgate jambs and edges of the tailgate since they don't need it but it should be fine. Did you use Herculiner or something similar?
Yep. As I said, I'm planning on touch ups and finishing under the right rail this week. I just hope the product doesn't dry in the can...I've used Herculiner before, it's good stuff. Nice thing is, you can go back at anytime and do a second coat or touch up if needed. I really like my LineX'd bed but the convenience of Herculiner or any other DIY bedliner is doing the touchups/repairs whenever you want as opposed to having to make an appointment and dropping the truck off for a few hours. I've got a few spots that need fixed and that inconvenience factor is the only reason I haven't done it yet.
