Is there another way of doing this so the fog lights can be off with the switch pushed in? Perhaps jump the high beams to the fogs so when you click the high beams on (not hold them) they'll cancel out whatever makes the fogs turn off and leave them on?Installed the jumper wire for the fog lights to work with high beams. To clarify this, as I haven't seen this said before, you are jumping the switched power for the fogs to come on whenever the parking lights are on. You no longer need to pull the headlight switch out to turn on the fog lights. That means they also stay on with the high beams.
You can use just about any size wire. I had some 14ga hanging around and used that. Smaller gauge will be easier to route and reseat the relays with. You are running the wire from 73, which is the Park Lamp Relay to 62, which is the Fog Lamp Relay.
Before the jumper wire.
Relays 73 and 62 removed.
Installing the jumper wire. Note which terminals are being used on the relays. Nothing fancy here, just wrapped the exposed wire around each terminal.
Jumper wire installed and routed through the fuse box. With the cover on, there shouldn't be any problems with moisture getting in there.
