Got my TrueTrac installed, and found out someone had removed the oem locking diff. It had an open diff, but build sheet says it was supposed to be "anti-spin".
It was put back together with orange silicone gasket maker.

Changed the gear lube in the front and rear. Went with Redline. 75-85 up front, and 75-140 out back. I have a 2016 outdoorsman with HEMI and 3.92 gears. Didn't need any limited slip additive. I've had the Flowmaster FlowFX on for a week now. (Single exhaust, so just a 3"in 3" out muffler) I was contemplating pulling it out and putting the stock back on leading up to this weekend, but after a week, it seems to have gotten better? When I first put it on, it was drony, and a bit too loud, especially pulling away from a light, no matter how gentle I was on it. I don't know why it would have gotten smoother sounding, breaking in the packing maybe? Either way, it's staying now, I do like it a lot.

I have a flowFx on my dual out 2017 Hemi and absolutely love it. Also have kn cold air intake. The flowFx is pretty mild compared to the outlaw I had on my 2005 Ram hemi.

I love it now, but it was just obnoxious when I first installed it. I got it from all the videos online I saw, and because it seemed fairly mild. My wife complained on day 1 of me starting up in the garage in the morning, but after a couple days, she said she didn't notice. I mentioned reverting back to stock, and she rode in it for the first time since I installed it yesterday, and said she couldn't tell a difference. (I let it eat to show her, then she noticed...) I'm gonna chalk it up to breaking in...

Scored a set of OEM black rims and tires (not the plastic cladding) off Facebook marketplace cheap. Guy told me they didn't have sensors in. But a few miles after swapping them on, my truck picked up a set of sensors.

Since my truck did not have a spare when I bought it, went to the Pick A Part yard and got a rim last week. This past Saturday, went to find a tire for it. Discount and Big O wanted $250 for one. No way am I paying that for a spare. Went to one of the mexican Llanteras shops and got a nice spare for $80.

Get it home and go to put it up underneath the truck and...... No tire jack or kit. Searched online and found that Dorman makes a tire jack kit and Autozone carries it. Drove down to Autozone and picked it up for $31.99 + tax. Part number (if anyone needs one) is 926-809.

That and cleaned my windows so I can see out of them after the rain this weekend.

This week, my mom went home to be with the Lord, my dad and brother. Our family cemetery plot is 98miles away. “Bubba” did such an excellent job of making sure we got to the cemetery safe, comfy, and quickly.
The drive home was excellent.
A lonely stretch of highway, I opened that Hemi up. Next thing I know, cruising at 110mph was an awesome experience. “Bubba” is one bada$$ Ram to say the least

I installed (last Oct.) my Diode Dynamics Front driving -NOT FOG- lights. And because I also installed trailer brake control -factory part- and had to do some reprograming I got lazy as to hooking power up to the driving lights. Kept taking dash apart to do each of the above (which got mentioned here as they were being done) so I simply hooked then directly to battery. Which of course creates it's own problem ( forgetting to turn off!!) So last weekend did it correctly. I used the Upfitters (yes that is what is called) location. Cut a spade terminal down to grab the power side (as the lights have an inline fuse provided) of that location (number 100 in the box). So now if I use them and get out without turning them off Rebecca does not have to come to school with the "jump box".
I believe "upfitters" is used on cab & chassis for whatever unit will be attached to the chassis. Also guess that is there as part of a basic wiring set up ( even though tradesman 1500 didn't (?) come as cab and chassis.
Today I head down with my newest Scanner ( Innova 7111) to try and calibrate the speedometer. Is in not accurate says I am going 2mph slower than dash indicates, per a radar gun. My friend (since single digits-now I'm beyond 70) and his son are badge/gun carrying people. If I remember next week I will tell you if it worked, or at least is capable via Innova model 7111.

You probably just need to reprogram the computer using the correct tire size you have on your truck. If you have AlphaOBD and an OBD MX+ it's pretty easy to fix - just have to check here for the right post on how to do it.

Did brakes all around on my ‘19 Classic. At 75K miles it still had the original pads. They were probably good for another 10K+ but I’m due for inspection so I decided to get it over with.

Truck bed off. Rear bumper off. Repair areas that were hidden. New rocker panels. New tailgate, shaved the ram head.
When all the body/paint is finished I will have it re-lettered.
I never want to have to buy another truck.
