12.80 1/4 mile street tire run

Went out Friday night and finally got a 1/4 mile run in. Bad part is I only got 1 pass right before it rained out. Did well and got a [email protected] on a half way decent pass on the stock 33" good years and tailgate on. Was 1428 DA with a slight head wind and so humid it was actually misting and very very light sprinkle as I made the pass. Was impressed that it still but a 1.87 60' with rolling out of the hole. Gonna go back this Friday and try to chip away deeper into the 12's on street tires And maybe slap the slicks on and go after matt's 7.88 NA , stock motor record don't hate me Matt! Lol. Da will be back in the 0-500 range so It may be a good possibility .

Just belltech 2/4 with nitro 2 drop shocks. Very basic

Didn't run race gas. Still don't have that tune uploaded on the trinity yet. My buddy didn't have his laptop charged for me to get that tune uploaded that night so I ran same 93 track tune

Wow ok. I figured our 2/4 belltech would hurt more than anything. Glad to know my street drop won't hurt me when my goal is high 12s!

My 2011 was cutting mid 1.6 60' times and running 12.4's with the same Belltech kit with stock control arms and panhard bar. The lowering kit definitely isnt hurting anything.

That is good to know. What shocks? I'm assuming the nicer belltech ones. I bought my kit without shocks. Mostly because I couldn't find a clear answer as to what lasts/feels the best and performs on the strip..

Thanks man. Went back last week and hit a 12.71 on the same tire at 107. Going back again tomorrow but only the 1/8th mile will be about 15 degrees cooler so I'm hoping for 7.80's in the 1/8th
