Are the extra spots on it able to used for something else ??

Mine has 6 buttons, but 3 aren't used for anything currently. Is there a way to get them to work for other stuff ???

I don't think there's a way to get the extra spots to work. The fobs are for all vehicles so some of the extra spots are for like power liftgate on the durangos and grand cherokees and then sliding doors on the minivans

Yeah remote start from the dealer, but I think that's it.
