For the guys that have either powder coated or plasti dipped the stock sport wheels, how did it turn out? Looking for some ideas for when my truck gets here.

Post up some pictures!

I want to get mine powder coated as well, I really don't like the plasti dipped wheels, looks cheap in my opinion. My truck only has 3k miles so I want to burn my OEM tires and get rims instead of getting new tires. lol

All plasti dip. Flat black with copper strips.
I liked it.

I did a black and copper theme for a bit. Hood vents, grille slats, mirror caps and ram emblems were copper. Kept it for one summer. Looked better in person.

That copper looks good! I just did mine over the weekend and I've gotten several compliments so far.

To be honest, I would have much rather them be powercoated because I can see some of the imperfections and mistakes I made in the plasti-dip. Overall, I'm happy with it but I'm worried about the durability of the glossifier coats. 5 coats flat black with 3 coats of glossifier but in certain areas of the wheel up close, it is hard to see but the black is almost like a dark grey. Again, only I notice it but if you see out on the street, it looks sharp.

Looks great man. Good decision going white out on the tires

Looks good! Im thinking this is the route Im going to go on my Blue Streak Sport. How long have you had your truck? The reason I ask is there seems to be different versions of the Sport headlights. Mine is set to arrive in a week and Im hoping that it has the same lights as yours.

Plasti Dip on the badges?

Thanks for all the compliments fellas. I will get out my camera and take some pro pics as soon as can get a break at work. My truck is a '15 and I've had it for a month now. I think the black would look great with a blue truck and yeah, I actually plasti-dipped the badges 2 weeks before the wheels. I like how it looks but if I saw Radak04's black and copper scheme before, mine might look different.

I liked the copper but the wife didn't so much. Here's a few more shots of the grille and back.
I peeled all the dip, sold the stock wheels and went with a black and white painted theme after that.
