i cant seem to find what kind of axles i have on my truck. i have a 2018 ram 3500 srw bighorn crew cab 4x4 6.4 hemi and wanting to know what axles i have front and rear cause i want to regear it? thanks

The front axle is an AAM 9.25" and the rear is an AAM 11.5". AAM is the acronym for American Axle & Manufacturing.

dont use nitro gears, their customer service is horrible!
plus the aint chamfered correct.

since you have the 3500 you can go all the way to 5.13 usuing aam branded gears without needing any special parts. if you go to a competant shop they should know this

I put 4.56's in my truck & am really happy with them but if you pull a lot, & often, I think I would even go bigger! 4.88's or 5.13's like suggested above.

What kind of mileage are you seeing with the 4.56 gears?
i get about 8 with 4.56 and 37s
