Let me say it still does. A freshened healight and taillight...big woop. 8 years same design. Pretty pathetic compared to its competitors

No need to change it often if it looks good. I could have bought a GM or Ford when I bought my 17 and didn't because I like how the Ram looks even with oldest design.

Not pathetic at all. This 8 year old design is gaining ground on the competition... they are held back only by production. A mild re-fresh on the outside is a very smart move. Word is the inside is getting a big upgrade.

What if secretly all the major truck compaines are actually working together and using a fake sense of segrigation to help each side make sells but secretly they are eventually going to become one gigantic company that rules all over trucks. a Mecca if you will

The raptor is hands down the best looking truck on the market, followed by a ram sport in blue streak

Love the look of the ford. I also like their interior. Just a tad overpriced for me

However, the chevy/gmc interiors are horrible. Upper trims a little better, but still just blah.

If ram can just up their payload/towing (beating ford), minor interior updates, I'm all for the redesign

Love the Fords, HATE the GM's. The 2014+ GM's are just crap cans.

I'd say Ford and Ram are about on par with each other right now with the Ram still having the better interior materials. The Ram is also just slightly better looking to me in certain trims as well. The Ford is definitely a good truck though, no doubt about that.

And since someone mentioned Blue Streak Sports I'll go ahead and plug my own truck... :naughty:

Yep. The Ram sales are stronger now than ever. The design is great right now and will be hard to beat. Thats why they waited so long to do a new generation. FCA has even said they loved the styling and sales were strong so why change it. Of course styling is subjective but most people like it a lot.

Small trucks are useless

kinda sorta agree with this. IMO if you find you no longer need a full size pickup truck bed but you still need some kind of cargo capacity along with the capability to haul larger objects as infrequently as 2-3 times per year, you'd be better off with an SUV and a utility trailer instead of a compact sized truck

speaking strictly from an exterior appearance perspective I'm torn whether I like this redesign more or the current Rebel. I like the new lights on the 2019 more, but like the bumper style on the Rebel more.

Totally false, MAAAAANY people ride dirt bikes and quads and need a way to haul em to the riding destination since they are not street legal... Don't need a dang Cummins or 1 ton beast to haul a 400lb quad or 3 dirt bikes that total about 650 pounds and having to use a trailer vs in your bed is a major inconvenience for many situations. Many uses for smaller trucks
