has anyone tried both the 2 inch lowering spindles and 2 inch lowering springs to achieve a 4 inch drop in the front for a 2wd?

Haven't done it on a 2wd, but I did it on a 4wd and it works just fine, though you'd realistically get about 1.5" drop from the spindles.

No problems other than the brake dust shields that are supposed to be trimmed, but I just discarded them(forgot my snips at work).

Rides just the same as before adding the spindles.

For the rear you have to cut atleast 2 full coils and add shorter bumpstops.

It aligned perfectly. Note that I did trim 1/3 of a coil off the 2" McGaughy's springs to get closer to a 4" drop, with their combo I only got a little over 3". My cut Belltechs were closer to 3.5" drop alone, but would never align.

It did push my front wheels out, but only about 1/4"-3/8". With 1/4" spacers on the rear wheels you can't tell the difference.

^^^ Nice pic, bad ass truck!

I wish I had the balls to go lower right now, but I am still dialing in my 2/4 :(

I am thinkin about it too. 3/5 would do it for me. I like a little rake.

I would need new tires. Mine are rubbing a little now

Most definitely not, they will rub. I'm running 285/50/20s.
