Little rubbing on the pinch seam at full lock. I plan to bend it in tomorrow.
Gonna try to get the light bars wired up tomorrow too.

SO i did in fact bend these over little by little with a big crescent wrench, and then tap them flat with a mini sledge. Pretty easy. Sanded off the flaking paint, and bedlinered the hell out of it.

Here is today's accomplishment. The rubbing will have to wait until I can get it to the old man's and get the big sledge with the tires off of it to get some throw on it.
Just read this thread from start to finish man this was quite the read. I'm glad everything is to yourself liking especially after all the money you've spent.

Thanks immortal. If anyone cares what the dynabeads look like here they are. I had never seen them before.

One of my tires was out of round if you missed it, so it was replaced today.

Yeah just had a tire separated from the rim this weekend had that stuff inside which was weird because the tire was still good I'd barely driven on it's the rim was cracked came of the truck and the spare went on.

SOOOO sick man, im ordering the fiberwerx fenders soon and looking at hoods. super curious though to hear if after all the trimming you were talking about with the fenders if you think they are worth the extra 200 bucks vs the duraflex fenders? and also just how big of a hassle was getting that hood to fit and mount? sounded like it was pretty rough

The hood wasn't too bad. My gaps could probably be nicer, but I truthfully dunno if I may be able to adjust it a little better. Hard to tell if it's the hood or the fenders. Probably both being off an eight of an inch making the gap an extra quarter. O well lol.

The hood was probably the smoothest panel, then fenders, then bedsides.

Knowing what a quality company fiberwerx is (they do all the bodies for baja, the score series, etc. I can only imagine how rough the duraflex could be....duraflex kinda advertises the fact that they are NOT fiberglass...and ppl seem to go on about them being thin...and warping..etc. so no...I wouldn't try them over fiberwerx.

With my bedsides, they admitted they were an old mold, and totally made it right. Good company in my book.

If you or your shop aren't THAT particular...I'm sure you could do ALOT less work, and still look good. If my truck was white, I might have not even painted them lol.

As far as other quirks. There is no antenna provision...so mine is wire ******* on the frame rail. I get FM ok. But AM is gone.

Extra trimming and body work of course. Headlight buckets aren't cut..etc. Nothing insurmountable. But still not a steel bolt on.

Hope that answers some questions. Glad to answer more if you have them.

Hood also got much sturdier with the grille in. Stock struts are fine.

Should do the fm conversion to CB antenna and get dual whips will definitely fix your radio problem

i dont think they look bad, but unless you need em, id personally leave em off

I was going to wire my old fog light switch into them. I'm not sure how i feel about them. This combo of pods and brackets doesn't have much adjust-ability.
