Was exactly like mine. Lol I torched the brackets off the front. Cleaned it up with a grinder, welded the front brackets for the bumper on (you can drill and bolt if you want), and bolted the bumper to the brackets.

Does this rear support bar get into your body support structure in the front? I'm literally contemplating cutting it off. to get this thing tucked up and in where it doesn't look like crap.

That rear bar runs right into this area...not really something i can cut? Again i'm more tempted to cut off that rear bar on this bumper. It's our 5 inches too far, and 4 inches too low otherwise?

My frame rail had big "crumple zone" bulges in it. I cut right behind that. There's probably 7 inches of Stubb still sticking out. MAybe an inch behind the plate? Remember...this is some china assembled NFAB clone...its not identical as we have learned, and i'd never buy it a 2nd time. I'm guessing this is only "close" to yours. Did you just torch the plates off and crush the crumple zones then w/o removing any frame rail at all?

I torched the plate off from the front and used my big grinder to smooth down the end and crumple zones. Hammered the brackets on and tacked them to check my alignment. Got it straight and welded them up. Lol

Would it be possible to heat and bend it? I realize might be hard but it's there as support I'd imagine so might not be a good idea to cut it off.
Just my thought

Its crossed my mind. I had to walk away and come back with a fresh head. I wasn't at my wits end or anything, just appeared like the easy way out.
There's also nothing saying these brackets are any good. I might have to make something myself. I already had to cut them to get them to even bolt to the bumper.

Maybe it just sticks out further than I care for. Idk..seemed to be i could tuck it in alot nicer if that bar wasn't there.

If your sway bar is on there, drop those links and go flexing!

Pssshh.. I roll without my sway bar links most of the time. Ride is more comfortable, just don't make crazy hard turns on dimes lol.
