3rd or 4th gen

Sorry if this has been covered. Couldn't find a solid answer anywhere. I have a 2009 Ram 2500. Should I look in the 3rd or 4th gen catigory for info on the body and drivetrain. Thanks

your 09 does have a vvt hemi which I think you would have better luck with on the 4g for some drivetrain, it may changed some in 10 some tho.

based on your picture definitely 3rd gen for the body at least

i know the heavy dutys didnt become 4th gen looks wise till 2010 but the 09 2500 was motor trend truck of the year which makes me think it may have gotten a drivetrain upgrade..
