5.7 Hemi sluggish

I have a 2013 Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi. As long as you ease into the gas, the power is great. But if it's in ECO at 50 -60 mph, and you get on the gas hard, the engine seems to "flutter". Sometimes it takes off great and then seems to lose power until I let off the gas a little, then it will accelerate again.
Any ideas?

Because its in 4cyl mode it takes half a second to kick out. If you dont go wide open my truck will try to accelerate for a second in 4cyl eco mode till it decides its not sufficient. Get a tuner turn off MDS and dont worry about it.

To eliminate the lag in acceleration look at the Pedal Commander. Will not increase the hp or tq, but it sure will eliminate any lag you have in acceleration. Also it will not affect your warranty. You can also pair it with a tuner for greater performance.

I also agree, get the PC! I also have a 2013 5.7 and mine also (HAD) the “acceleration lag”
