6.4 Hemi Truck Issues (Sorry long write up but need advice)

Do you guys think these are isolated incidents? Should I not be looking at a 2015 2500? I have a 07 1500 with 158k and had to replace the front coils. I hate hearing the clattering noise.

No, I think under the right conditions they will all do it. The two trucks like mine I have driven made the same noise.

There is definitely something to be said about the newer 1500 suspension.

2. Clunking in front end under passenger floorboard when suspension drops down off of a bump (bump is my driveway)

There is a Service Bulletin # 23-033-15 that covers this issue on the 2014-2015 Ram 2500. The problem is the front body mounts are bad. The bulletin requires the dealer to replace the installed 68224164AA mounts with new 68224164AB mounts.

My truck goes in next week to have the mounts changed, the dealer says I'm only the second truck to have the issue, however the Bulletin is valid.

I found the Bulletin on another RAM forum along with 80 pages of complaints about this problem. The folks that have had the new mounts installed say it corrects the problem.

This bulletin involves replacing the frame to body cushion isolators located under the right
and left cab A-pillars.
MODELS:
2014 - 2015 (DJ) Ram 2500 Pickup
NOTE: This bulletin applies to vehicles within the following markets/countries:

NOTE: This bulletin applies to vehicles built on or before April 18, 2015 (MDH
0418XX).
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
The customer may describe a rattle/clunking noise or popping that can be heard and felt in the floor under the front passenger or driver side when the vehicle is driven on uneven roads, especially from a higher level to a lower level. Noise may be more audible at cold
temperature.
DIAGNOSIS:
If the customer describes the symptom/condition listed above, perform the Repair
Procedure.
