I bought a 2010 ram 1500 SLT with a 6" lift already installed. Front is sitting lower than the back. What is the best option to raise the front to sit level with the rear? Bilstein adj struts up front?
Also if i add these struts, will my upper control arms be at too much of a pinch?
Wondering if i do this, if i will need zone upper control arms. Thanks in advance.

I have your year truck and setup. Zone or Mevotechs UCAs may not be needed but always appreciated. Billsteins struts to get you level, sure. You can safely go to 2.1 without worry of ball joint angle. But folks have been running 2.8 without any issues, too.

Thanks for the reply Sir
Are you running the bilsteins in your truck? Do they ride as nice as the stock struts? Reason I ask is I installed the FOX resevoir shocks in my 4 door wrangler, and it was as stiff as a dump truck. Cheap $10 shocks would probably ride smoother. Lol

What kind of lift is on your truck? I know if you have ss procomp shocks, there is a collar at the bottom of the shock that sets the 6" lift at 4" in front if it is inverted, so it has to be flipped around to get it back to the 6" lift stance.

Marsh i honestly have no idea. Any ideas how i can tell? It has the spacer on top of the stock struts and is undercoated so i cant see any markings or stickers.
I figured i would see what rear shocks are in it that way i could tell. But it has fox resevoir shocks on the back and i dont believe any 6" kits come with those.

Yessir, Billies up front. Better than stock struts by a mile. Cadillac-like difference.

For reference. See that collar below the spring. It can be inverted to change the lift by 2 inches. There are some setups that give you an option to adjust. Like JB1 said, post some pics and someone may know what you have and can tell you more.

just a thought... it may be cheaper for you to lower the back, and problem solved? I kinda like your truck's current stance btw. Looks good.

Most kits require you to unbend/straighten some of the hardline to extend it and add a drop bracket, my BDS suspension kit has extended SS braided brake lines. There’s a lot of members here that have added the Bils and haven’t changed the brake hoses but you could add them if needed.

Post a picture of the rear suspension too.

If he has procomp or rough country, they use spacers to raise the rear of the truck instead of coil springs so to lower he would need to buy drop coils.

Thanks for the replys guys. Here is my strut spacer with X on it and stock strut i believe.
Looks like a rough country lift. Guess i will add the front bilsteins to make it level. The cheap rough country lift doesnt come with extended brake lines. Guess i will add those also. Thanks for the help and replys. This site rocks

Those look like factory struts, your truck will ride much better after you swap to Bilsteins

Yeah with 120K on stock struts, the ride could only improve with the bilsteins. I appreciate all of the help and replies
