Have had the intake on my 16 bighorn 1500 4x4 cc since the truck was new. Not one single complaint. No failures. Everything is in the exact same position as when i installed it. Pulled the filter three times and not one spec of dirt inside, or any sign of water whatsoever. Ive gotten many compliments on the look also. Lets just say im very happy. Thank you very much Moe. Happy new year and i look forward to many more purchases from you in the very near future!fe4b9af31d38403bbc22ee05c4fa37f3.jpg

The vinyl graphic decal was made by a fellow union brother i work with. Let me know if anyone is interested in purchasing them from him. Pretty inexpensive and made from the best vinyl available. Many many colors to choose from also.

Have you noticed any improvement in performance over the oem intake?

Additional performance is more noticeable at WOT. Also increased performance at the track if you take the filter out.

Performance review?
Ive noticed that at WOT, this intake gets throaty. Not overly loud, but definitely noticeable. As for seat of the pants feel, its not something you can really "feel". But I have most definitely realized an increase in mileage. It also opens up the whole left side of the engine bay, making it easier to change plugs, coils etc...if necessary. Not only that, but one must admit that it has a real nostalgic look to it...like the old carb days. Even though its plastic, it is very strong. I have zero issues with this intake, and would buy another one without hesitation.

I hope this helps in your decision in which one you'll be purchasing.

On average, 1.5-2 mpg. Mind you, I do mostly thruway driving and set the cruise at 70mph...keeping the engine around 1500 rpm's. Once you put your foot into it, those numbers will drop as I'm sure you know lol.

I live where we got lots of snow. There's a thread, on the other Ram forum, about this air intake and snow. It scared me away. Just a heads up.

Holy crap!!! I live outside Philadelphia so this intake is 100% not for me... sucks because I really wanted one. Seems like it's built really well and everyone who buys one, loves it. But if that's what is happening in the snow, then there is no way I'd be able to have one where I live. [emoji20]
