Thanks! We wanted to do something different and not one solid color. We saw this and instantly knew it was what we wanted to do with it. It can look pretty burnt or even have hints of green in lower/less harsh lighting, and lots in between. And considering it's plasti dip, I'm very happy with it and my ability to enjoy it without as much concern.

Was private messaging with Brandon and wanted to show him some pictures, but can't easily upload a file through private message like you can on a thread. So I made this thread, but I didn't even look for a section like this to post it in so thanks for moving it to the proper location.

Yep, plasti dip that we put on in the spring of 2016. Pretty impressive stuff, get an awesome effect for a bargain price. Makes it so much easier to drive it without worrying as much. We have a few small spots in high traffic areas that we are going to do some small repairs to, but otherwise it's holding up great. Of course it is garage kept year round, so that helps.

Thanks! I'm thrilled to have them be a lot more visible and to have the sequential, always loved that look.

Damn Joe, that car looks awsome!!
Then I read further
WTF??? Plastidip?? That stuff is amazing and 5 years old to boot.
Kudos to you for painting outside the box and having it be the schizzz!!@ lol

Thank you Steve, I really appreciate the compliments! Yes I can't say enough about the plastidip, and when it does need to be redone I won't hesitate to go this route again!

I've always like Buicks.
One of my first real cars was a 1979 Grey/black 2-tone LeSabre that started out as a gutless 350 diesel but was swapped to a 307 crate motor.

I got lucky that this one fell into my lap when I was 17. Otherwise buicks weren't on my radar very much, but I sure am glad we found this one! Great cars!

That 79 sounds cool, always loved two tones!
