Yeah, I was talking to my local dealer and they hardly sell any PWs, they do sell a lot of the Tradesmans in Cedar Rapids.

I pulled my Power Wagon and in tow a factory lifted travel travel trailer (both with large off-road tires) into an Iowa RAGBRAI bicycle's campground last year. Immediately, the campground host saw my setup and stated that my vehicle looked totally out of place. Coming from the Rockies of Colorado and into Iowa I guess we did.

My new set of 35 12.50R17 Toyo C/T's are on order for my Power Wagon. It takes 1 to 2 weeks to get stuff out here due to there are no warehouses within approximately 250 miles around. Got to have a good 4x4 to even think about living here.

Power Wagons and good 4x4's are in high demand in the following states (below). I drove to Salt Lake City to get a better deal than anything in Colorado had to offer.

iSeeCars did a little research and discovered the 10 states with the most 4WD and AWD vehicles.

  1. Montana, 71.8%
  2. Alaska, 70.9%
  3. Wyoming, 70.1%
  4. North Dakota, 67.8%
  5. Vermont, 67.8%
  6. South Dakota, 66.1%
  7. West Virginia, 65.7%
  8. Maine, 65.7%
  9. Colorado, 64.7%
  10. Idaho, 63.4%

Texas may have not made the top 10 but we have the most jack-up 2 wheel drive pavement Princess trucks!! Haha
Although seeing a PW here is almost more rare then seeing snow(almost) the King Ranch 4x4 and Raptors are like 1 in 10 in my little town north of Houston. A lot of coin being dropped on trucks in my side of the states.

No I have not been rev’d at a light yet but my PW looks like it’s ready for work not play, with my rack on.

I do mess with sports cars though. I flip the switch on the exhaust and own the intersection with the sound of the 6.4 unleashed!! Haha

Isn't our current setup a manual/electronic hybrid.

Yeah, I am just thinking of that dial-a-shift. It's always been a pet peeve of mine in any of my trucks and I think I had read that's what they are putting in. The floor shift transfer case to me seems WAY more responsive. Maybe it isn't but it sure seems like it.

I may be wrong though, but I had read in an auto blog that is what was going in.

I'd have rather seen then make the Macho Power Wagon than this. The only thing that sounds remotely interesting would be the stock beadlocks and stock sliders w/steps. I've got an 18 with the alpine system and don't like the 12" screen. There's no way I'd trade in for this. But a Macho package? As long as I could add it to whatever color I'd trade in a heartbeat.

Grand Mesa, based on your input, I will be getting those exact tires. Last quote I got was about $439 each. Yikes!

I think the Macho Powerwagon may be coming once the TRX hype falls off. They didn't go through making the concept to have it die in the water.

Although you can see how much the REBEL got from it...and the TRX too

Maybe... but that concept is 3 years old? Looks like 2021 year is spoken for. 2022 might have hope for the Macho.
