87mm Throttle Body

What ya guys think of the 87mm throttle body from Moes??
Wanted to see if ya guys thought it was worth it?
Ordered Diablo T2 tuner with Hemifever custom tune. Already have K&N intake, and Magnaflow cat back duals. Wanted to see what the throttle body would do for my 13 Ram?

Contact Hemifever and ask them. I had one on my ‘13 with a bullydog and a lost a little torque and gained a little up top. If going forced induction,yes. If not, I would ask the person tuning them. I’d go with an 85mm if I buy another one. Throttle bodies are not a bigger is better item

I'm happy with mine....mod list in signature if you can see it.

Some people say it isn't worth it, no argument with anyone on it. All I can say is I immediately noticed a more responsive throttle...who knows on actual gains. If you are custom tuned they can adjust for this too....more air plus more fuel equals happy hemi.

Ported retains normal driveability I'm 0tetty sure he thought you were talking straight bore, that's when bigger definitely does not mean better for any application but ported is different

Yes it's Moe's 87mm, ported. So it tapers back at the butterfly. I'd buy it again if I had the choice.

I was actually writing a post to mention the PC in comparison...lol.

I have both but had the ported TB first. The main difference is the PC isn't capable of adding power whereas the TB only gets better the more upgrades you add.

Sure there are better gains to be had for the money but I'm glad I purchased it.

I have one I immediately noticed throttle response improved. That is on my 6.4 HEMI 2500 so a lot heavier truck. More than what I expected. Getting HEMIFEVER tune and PCM this week from Matt and Sean. With the tune all the mods will come together.

I have a 90mm BBK tb I noticed some gain mostly with the throttle response.

I know he was talking about the ported one. I had that exact one, used it awhile, and sold it. After I put the stock TB back on, I immediately noticed my truck pulled harder from a stop, I just didn’t have that small gain in high rpms anymore

You should be good then, especially after you get the headers.

Exhaust,vararam intake, and bullydog tuner. But remember, you’ll have a custom tune so they can tweak it to your mods. Mine was canned tunes
