sO MY hAUL TRUCK IS 2000 dODGE D250 Extended cab . I keep a thermometer in one of my vent year round... i JUST KEEP iT THERE INSTEAD OF MY TOOL BOX.& i always know where it is .
... But today it's running at 60*. 3 minutes after it's started or after it was running fro an hour.
It's had a lot of effort to get it colling better over the last 2 years .
It been worked on the last 2 or 3 times By a mechanic that had spent about 15 years at the Chrysler dealership where I too worked . Ronnie moved on to the Electric co-op & he got a easier job With a retirement . Much more time off for family . & He is a good family man & He's a volunteer fireman . & WE'VE HAD THE FIRES THIS SUMMER. & hE WAS A good AC man while I was the Service advisor for 6 mechanics.
It's had a new compressor . Receiver dryer & Orifice tube & Line ..
Some new blend doors .. SO They keep trying to tell me some are obsolete now.
We put in a new Evaporator core & a new Heater Core. & Of course a new Blower motor & reistates .
... I'm thinking it's had everything but a new Condenser in front of the radiator.
It just want get cold 42* any longer .
There's not any insulation missing It's still a nice truck.
Granted it has 365K ON it but It's a nice truck.
........... ANYONE had any issues like this & you got your fixed.
Mine was in the shop today & yes it had correct amount of freon in it.
