Howdy hey all.
This is my 2012 2500 CCLB Laramie 4X4 68RFE and I've named her Agatha.
I figured I'd start a build thread to keep track and also kind of show off what I've done so far.
The whole process of purchasing this truck went super smooth and was the best experience I've ever had at a dealership.
Huffines Ram in Plano, TX - Ruben Perez. Super great guy.
But this was the day I drove her home back in Oct 2012

I went ahead and took off all the badges the 2nd day I had the truck. Which was a royal pain in the neck. Those badges had so much adhesive behind them that it toke over an hour on each side.
I worked in Vegas so I needed super dark tint for the 100+ summer days.
5% on all the windows and a 5% brow that goes right below my rear view mirror.
2/3/13
I was the last one leaving a jobsite one evening and I figured I'd check out how well the rear suspension could flex. Didn't seem to do to bad!
Since I'm young and filled with rebellious hormones, I just had to start getting all the emissions stuff off. So I picked up a sweet H&S MM Race tuner for a damn good realistic price. I eventually got the pillar mount but that wasn't until much later
H&S Mini Maxx Race Tuner 109003 on 2/6/13
After dropping so much money on just that little itty bitty tuner, I was not about to try to even ask my wife if she would let me get another go fast mod. So I snagged up these LEDs for my reverse lights and license plate. Really helped me with backing up at night.
LED Reverse and License Plate lights
I finally got around to hacking out the stock exhaust and decided to put up a 5"TBE from Flo-Pro. My buddy had part of his exhaust stolen, so I had a shop weld my exhaust together, cause homie don't play dat . They did a Superb job too!
Ok, raise your hand if you have a laramie.
Now keep your hand up if every time you drive home after work, the sun hits the chrome trim on your center console and you become blinded?
Thought so. That drove me nuts every day I drove home.
I decided to get almost everything painted.
I picked up a low profile black toolbox from good ol' Tractor Supply. So far it's been pretty good to me.
I moved back to Plano, TX from Vegas for good and I knew with all the humidity and heat, that I needed to stop the oil vapors from going into the turbo. I just did the at home DIY way, except the only filter I could find was huge and seemed more like an intake for a civic hahah.
My tow mirrors were plasti-dipped but I still wanted the factory black ones. I posted up a WTT Chrome for Black on Craigslist and the next day I swapping out mirrors on this guys Dualley. Him and I actually agreed on swapping out Interior and Exterior door handles too. We just haven't had time to get together and get it done.
I hate chrome and amber. I just do. Especially on black. So I picked up some more white LED's for my turn signals. Also after flagging down/chasing down countless work and fleet trucks I finally found a guy that would trade me his base model grille for my Laramie grille! This makes it so much easier to paint.
