I think most people agree that the amp steps are the best option for our trucks. Has anyone asked to do a group buy? On the tundra forum they did it and the price went from $1300 to $658 each. Thoughts?

They are typically $1300 including professional installation around here. But $658 at your door wouldn't be a bad deal.

I love my AMP steps, Got them with an Amazon card and they took off $200 or something. Couldn't pass it up. Easy to install.

Hard spending that much money on steps, until you see them in action and actually get them and realize how well these are made.

There was a group buy on another forum long time ago, but it was like $30 off a set or something. Half price is a little much to ask!

I will try to contact them unless someone has an in. I don't know what they would charge but thats what I was reading on a Tacoma forum as I was browsing for the best price on them. For all I know they might say no discounts.

I shopped all over before I bought mine and the cheapest I could find was around 1199.00 I cant remember exactly for the plug and play version with free shipping. I was told these steps are price protected. The dealers are not allowed to sell them for under a certain price. They will sometimes try to give you a discount by giving you free shipping or installation. I would be suprised if you could get them much cheaper but I guess you never know until you try. I hated spending the money but I love mine. They work great.

You can also modify the earlier models to fit.
