I was recently adjusting my headlight on my 2015 sport. I had the headlights on at night and was adjusting / inspecting pattern. I had lights of and was looking at my lights with a flashlight and noticed these scratches. They are not through the finish. It looks as if they were scratched and then painted from factory. There is also a noticeable fingerprint on the projector lens. Both left and right are scratched on the inboard side of the projector ring but marking are not the same pattern so I am sure its not meant to be there. I have had the truck since July and have never noticed. I believe these lights are the black chrome projectors. I've already called the dealer and have to go by so they can photo and send to ram for authorization to replace.

To be completely honest I wouldn't worry about it. Unless you get up close and personal with the lights you'd never notice. It wouldn't effect your light pattern either. That's just me though.

Tried or they did? Did you get a new set?
If so have they done the same?

Its difficult to believe it is from sun. I hope to get by the stealership tomorrow. Now that I have other posts with the identical problem they will have a hard time claiming that its my fault.

I believe it is a machining flaw that has been overlooked by qa in some south of the border sweatshop. There may be hundreds or thousands on the road just like them. I have **** vision and now that I have noticed the scratches I will be able to spot them from 300 ft away in the dark on my truck. If I had done it I may be able to accept it but I would not purchase these lights so I cant accept them connected to a 50k truck.

ill post what they say.
