Good to know. What exactly are you wearing / stressing by going 2.8 or higher?

PS - badass all at once write up with plenty of pics. Props!

2-2.5. some do bilsteins at 2.8, but thats pushing it.

My tires are only marginally taller than stock but they look just fine to me.

Yea I still have factory tires and all with a 2.5/1'' and I think it looks fine. I think thats how they should come from the factory :)

how hard is the spacer to install?

Not hard. 1-3 hours with the right tools. I found the easiest way to do the install in the front was to unbolt the upper a-arm and take the brake caliper off. It gives you the extra play to get the strut assembly back in.

i wish it was that easy. You definitely need coil compressors too for this job

I'm running 3" level. Based on measurement the truck sits perfectly level. I added before I became a member of the forum so I guess we will see if anything wears out. I love how it sits, only complaint would be when hauling weight in the bed it sags a bit. Prob should have gone 2.5" but gonna lift it a lil anyway so i'll be replacing those spacers.
