I have a 2022 Warlock. How many of you have accidentally put washer fluid in your antifreeze coolant fill? I almost did today. This is the first time I have had to add washer fluid. It’s always done by the oil change place. Both filler caps are yellow just on opposite sides in front of engine. Glad I caught myself in time! Lol!
Take care,
Matt

Yep, a couple years ago. Both my '08 Civic and '11 Eclipse have the coolant and washer reservoirs on the same sides, respectively, and I was making the rounds adding washer fluid.
By the time I got to the Ram I didn't look or think, just FILLED the coolant tank with washer fluid. FML

Fortunately the engine wasn't running and I caught it just as I topped it off. I just drained the tank and added Mopar to the proper level.

Yeah, that got my blood pressure going for a minute.

wow used to be one yellow, the other black or grey.

that is really dumb to put the two close together with the same color. probably save 50 cents or something.

And... one Mitsubishi, one Honda, one ram. All yellow.
Civic and Eclipse had washer on the passenger side, Ram had
coolant on passenger side.
To be clear all 3 had the reservoirs on opposite sides of each other, but the Ram was the reverse of the other two.

Lucky you caught it. There have been a few stories on here of people actually accomplishing the mistake and driving with washer fluid in their coolant.

Yes the only reason I stopped is there was a type of pull out dipstick on the antifreeze side which made me stop and say! Wait a second that’s weird!
(Paint) the cap another color). Maybe close to body paint color. Yeah, the Anti-Freeze dipstick could be a clue, hee hee.

I added water from my garden hose to my coolant reservoir once thinking it was the washer fluid reservoir, luckily no harm done.
I dislike trying to read the level of coolant on the dipstick. It is so hard to see.

I wouldn't think it would hurt anything.

It just so happens that yesterday another member put the wrong product into Motor Oil tube.
Luckily, it was P.S. Fluid & the vehicle was only driven 8 miles

When I read this in OPs Opening Remark.
"This is the first time I have had to add washer fluid. It’s always done by the oil change place" I spit out my coffee

The OIL PLACE PEOPLE is the place I would not trust to fill my washer fluid, let alone change my oil! The reputation of those places is ridiculous.
Good Luck.

I did it 3 years ago. Probably about a quart. But I was just beginning a long distance move. 30k miles later still going.
