These tires replaced the set of Falken AT3W 315/70/17 E rated i had. There was nothing wrong with those i just wanted a little bigger tire.

Have about 700 miles on the setup already. 1st time ever running this size/load on this tire model and so far i'm fairly happy with them.
Americas Tire Invoice: 7/20/2019, $358 each, Mileage: 77,128 miles

Tire reputation in all 4 seasons is well known so i won't bother with the details. KO2's should run a little small compared to a Toyo MT or Nitto MT tire, and at 69lbs each they weight less as well.
They're 36.5" tall (Not mounted), 69lbs heavy, balance well and they run smooth like all the other set of KO2's i've had before. Running them at 30psi cold at the moment back from 36psi.
14/32 thread brand new.

Truck details: 14 RAM Express crew cab, Hemi motor, 65RFE trans, 3.92 gears, King 2.5 OE performance coilovers/shocks running them at 2.5" lift front, maybe a little more as i adjusted my Coilovers up 2 full turns compared as before. In the back i have Icon 1.5" springs that have sagged some courtesy of 300lbs of permanent weight in the bed and Daystar 1" spacers. Zone UCA's and in my alignment i run 4.5-4.6" caster driver side 4.9-5.0* caster passenger side. This keeps the front wheels pushed a little forward and away from the seams after lift.
Wheels specs: Raceline Clutch 17x9 -12 offset
Aftermarket front bumper, ICI Throphy prerunner.

Fully functional setup as she's not a mall crawler :)
Didn't have to cut anything, front fender liners are in place. had to massage the front fender lips with the hammer but nothing really crazy.
Rear fender liners removed long time ago just because I like to see my shocks and how they’re doing in the rough.

This is max rub so far at full stuff, same pic mounted on that boulder above, cosmetic rub

So far i've had them at 35-40mph in the dirt without issues, will see what happens when i go up to 70mph.

Best of all and really a surprise considering i went up in size from the Falkens
at 36 psi, 16.5mpg
48352644111_ce8e429022_h.jpgUntitled by RAM RSM, on Flickr

at 30 psi 16.3 mpg
48414546697_93f12ff571_h.jpgUntitled by RAM RSM, on Flickr

I adjusted tire size with Hptuners, MPH verified with GPS, TPMS threshold adjusted wth Alphaobd.

Acceleration is the same as i had with the 315's. Don't feel any difference, truck has the 6 speed trans with factory 3.92 the gears. No issues when braking. Better MPG so far compared to the Falkens, i cant see how but what that heck.

Will update the threat every 5k miles or so, i'll add wear, noise etc, etc, they're quiet so far as they're still new.

Nice review. Tire weight plays such a huge role in acceleration, braking, and mpg’s. I’m betting the overall weight between the 35” Wildpeaks and 37” KO2’s isn’t anything significant.

Sweet mall crawler you got there!

What offset off wheel are you running?

I know the voices in my head aren’t real, but man, do they ever come up with some great ideas

Yep
According to the manufacturer specs
The Falkens in 315/70/17 are 72lbs
KO2s in 37x12.5x17 are 69

Nice truck! I really like that bed cover. Looking at the tire size to gear ratio, it appears the truck has moved more into the fuel economy threshold when the wheels were changed from 34" to 37".

This chart doesn’t count for trans gearing.
Example 35’s & 3.73’s = 2327 rpm. That would be approximately 90mph.
So in reality it’s off! Even at a 1:1 ratio.
Yes it’s good for a close guesstimate.

Yes you are correct it is a guesstimation at a transmission ratio of 1:1.

I'm at around 1700rpm more or less at 70mph with these tires.
Was about 1900rpm with the 315's at the same speed.

I think the BF Goodrich KO2's are my next tire after the stockers are done.

Love the pics! Can you tell me which settings were adjusted in Alfa for tire pressure? Been meaning to do that so I can air mine down below 39psi

Ty Bro.
Here you go
https://www.ramforum.com/posts/2080136/

After getting your pin from the dealer this is pretty much it. The link will have a video too.

TPMS
Select vehicle, body computer, 2013-2017 body computer
Then active diagnostic, select procedure Update pressure treshold
Set PSI front and Rear 32,32 default was 39-39
Finish
then disconnect.

Then select vehicle
Radio frequency hub
then 2013-2017 radio freq unit
active diag
then reset/replace, enter you pin
finish
Then disconnect

Also for those seeking to know the proper psi for a 37x12.5x17, if you want to match your placard, that will be 33PSI with this tire or any other 37x12.5x17 per TRA Inflation table.
37x12.5x17 LT size
at 30psi can support 2470lbs
at 35psi can support 2755lbs

Per the placard FCA says 2601lbs needed.
This tires at 33 PSI will support 2641lbs which will exceed FCA values.

For the offroaders, the size at 25psi can hold 2150lbs.
RAM 1500 GAVR rear is 3900lbs. At full weight you need a tire that can hold 1950lbs each. So with this size you could load the back of the truck for full GAVR at 25 psi if needed.

I bumped them up at 33psi today, but now that's hot around (100F) the tires are running at around 36psi and i can feel them a little hard over speed bumps, so i'll go back to 30psi and call it a day.
30 PSI is exceeding GAVR front or rear or GVWR so either way you want to run from 25 to 33PSI will be ok.

It's a 37 tire with heavy sidewalls and not a punny HT pizza cutter :), plan accordingly.

Have fun.

Do they make these same tires in a 37x12.5r18?

I think with the ProComp 6” I can’t go smaller than 18s and no more than 5” bs.

Would love 17s but I’m not sure if I can go that small or not

It must be the procomp spindle because the stock brakes can clear 17" wheels

Measure a set with 17" wheel and the tire you want.
This is the gap i have down there with 17x9 -12offset (4.5" backspace) and the KO2 37's with the stock spindles. I have no idea how aftermarket spindles look like but i figure all you may have to do is perhaps space the tire out?, so 4.5" backspace should work ?
