Body Damage Repair Advice

I had a run-in with a deer tonight. Caused some body damage to my bumper, hood, and driver door. Not sure how the deer made out but it did run off.

Anyone have experience with the dealer for body repair or is it best to go to an independent body shop?

Dealers usually don't do body work, that extensive. It would be best to file an insurance claim, and take it to a shop, that you select.

ask around and look for reviews. I went to a local shop for my 2015 when I backed into a tree. horrible work. orange peel was rediculous just depressing. My dad wiped out the whole side of his 11 sierra and brought it to the dealer. looked like new and they even buffed out the other side and detailed it. I wish I had brought mine there.
