Step one: problems with OTA update, posted at https://www.ramforum.com/threads/latest-onboard-software-update-not-working.151341/
Short version - it (apparently?) did update

Step two: alarm going crazy, posted at https://www.ramforum.com/threads/alarm-in-epilepsy-mode.151491/
Short version - couldn't stop alarm, finally did. Possible reason - Panic Mode stuck in fob.

Step three: Not Posted. (later in the day of Step 2) after the above) got a notice on the 8.4. Something to the effect that "A software update will be downloaded next time you shut off the vehicle. It will take about 10 minutes". First time I saw it, it disappeared before I noticed and had a chance to read it. Once or twice more I wasn't sure I would be parked for 10 minutes after so I pressed Cancel (Red "X"). Didn't see it again.

Step four: Not Posted. (day after Step two). Check Engine light came on twice. Third time it did not.

It seems highly unlikely that all the computer related (to me) situations are not related, with all issues happening within a 5-day period.

But maybe I am paranoid.

(note - I don't believe that the moon landings are fake or that 9-11 was a result of the actions of our government).

Hi TestPilot57,
We know you are reaching out to you fellow forum members, however, did you consider addressing this with your dealer? If you decide to go this route and additional assistance is needed, please reach out to us privately.

I have not, yet, since everything seems to be settled at this point. Just thought I'd post it in case others had similar issues.

Thanks for caring.
