No, they will secure to the existing holes you use to attach the inner plastic fenderwells.

Silly question: does anyone know the one bolt size that is used on the fender? Also any idea on the Torx size on these fender flares?

Mine just arrived.. it is a good quality product... not flimsy at all...

Here in AZ will have to paint or plastidip it otherwise it will crack from sun exposure...

Leaning towards plastidip

Yeah its hard to beat these for the price. My 37x12.50x20 wheels stuck out past my stock flares. Now they are even with the chinese flares. It will now pass inspection, and i wont be kicking rocks up chipping my paint.
Plus im not a fan of the ghetto look with guys driving around with 6" of tire sticking out.

I did not paint them. I like the way they look without paint, but my truck is black, so . . .

I plan on plastidipping them black just for uv protection... we have harsh sunlight here in phoenix...

Probably a smart move on your part painting or soraying bedliner on them. I have seen many of wrangler TJ's with cracked/discolored factory flares.

That's awesome. I have the name brand ones...but I got them VERY cheap ($200.00 CAD) but I will tell you the gasket was very difficult to put on even on the BushWacker brand. Another thing....once you put these on your truck do NOT take them off. you WILL have scratches all around where they meet the paint.

resurrecting since I just bought a set and the gaskets suck dinosaur eggs! Anyone find a better option? i have some 3m tape I can use for the edge that is closest to the paint, but I'd rather have more cushion than a thing piece of tape. Would something like this help?

Well that sucks. Mine came with a nice rubber liner, no tape required. Maybe an option if you can get this liner somewhere.

Mine came with an edge guard but the stick doesn't stick so it keeps coming off.

This is pretty much what came with mine. Fits on the flare very snug. Not sure if the 3/8" opening measurement is right, but this is what it was.
