2003 Ram build thread
It’s a fun little project, but I really couldn’t figure out a good way to trim the plastic. I used a dremel and any attachment I could think of but most of them just ended up burning their way through the plastic. Just go as carefully as you possibly can, the fewer dents and cuts to fix the better.
If I had to do it over again I wouldn’t shave off behind the throttle body. You really can’t see it when it’s installed and it’s almost impossible to make it look nice.
this really has me thinking, i have my replacement motor for my black 03 coming this weekend, and i have ton of spare engine parts laying around including manifolds, i may have to dig one out and try this
