Here’s one more project to add to the to-do list when I replace the engine. Picked up a hydro booster off a 06 cummins, I saw it done on a few trucks so I’m gonna try it out. Supposedly gets better braking power and gets rid of the huge vacuum canister that’s in the way of the rear plugs. Got it for $65 at a junkyard, can’t wait to try it out!

Make sure you post up how this gets installed. Just from your post, it sounds like a good move. Could be the finishing touch on the brake job I'll be doing by next year-ish.

Picked up a 46rh tonight, I decided to make the swap in the near future. The only problem is I need the overdrive unit from a 46re to bolt up to my 4x4. If I was 2wd I wouldn’t have any issues. I’m going to rebuild the transmission with a stage 2 or 3 build kit. This will be my first time getting into transmission work, it’s gonna be interesting to say the least

Hopefully this old torque converter will never see a Hemi haha

Thanks guys! I’m excited too. I’ll have some pics up as soon as the paint dries.
Also my engine shop called and said they expect my block to be all finished Monday, so hopefully I will have that back in a few days!

Overall not too bad, the grill needs some work still. The one I bought wasn’t in that great of condition, I tried fixing it but idk if I’m gonna keep it. I may look into a different grill and paint it. We will see once it’s dry if I can fix some of the paint and a few cracks that were on it.

Headlights are done! I will install the fenders after the engine is re-built and installed, don't want to scratch the new paint while it's in the shop. I'll have to open my old headlights and swap the projectors to the new ones.
