Search shows several threads on Dash Cams all good advice but all scattered around !
Can I get Personal Reviews on the Dash Cams you have and any issues ! ?
Amount of time you have used them ?
Any Links ?
Ease of set up ,
Installation tips on hard wiring ?
I think FIRST hand info fro user's here would be HONEST reviews and not from a slaes site :)

Maybe the Mods can merge all the Dash Cam threads into 1 folder to help in info searching since this seems like a common question ?? ???

Just though s from a Crusty Old Fart

I freaking bought two for each of our vehicles like 3 years ago and I'm too lazy to install. Good idea for a thread, encouraged me to get on it.

I'm a fan of Anker products. Their electronic accessories are hard to beat by themselves.

I use their Roav cameras in my Ram. S1 (front) and C2 (rear). I had the C2 first and when I researched a 2-cam system I decided to keep it and add a newer cam to the front. 2-cam systems can be quite spendy.

High temps will kill any cheap dashcam. The battery swells and can implode. The Roav's are rated 149-158 degrees, good for Florida sun.

Once mounted the only maintenance is regular memory card formatting.

I run a Nexar. It links directly to your phone and will prepare a insurance report if you ever have an accident. Owned it for almost a year and it has been great!

I have the Rexing V1 in my rebel and charger, front cam only. Both were hardwired using the Rexing kit. Used the ARMORTEK mirror mount kit off Amazon for my rebel and it works great. I used a 128Gb micro sd but think it's capable of 256. Roughly $150 total per setup: cam, hardwire kit, mount kit, mem card.

Well damn on the dash cam so far, broke it out and hooked it up, my bad for taking so long, battery that is rechargeable is toast. So all I have is a cons list at the moment, my impressions so far is dash cam is bulky, requires a small battery, and sd card that I borrowed off camera because I can't find it. So far the main con is how bulky it is. Now, you can recharge battery and unplug and use, but that is a pita, so leaving it on is wires all over the place. The one pro at this point is because it plugs into lighter, the lighter turns off with the key, so your dash cam will only be on with power. So far a big fail all my fault, will update when I have something worth while. These drop down screen dash cams are bulky, likely illegale from being an obstruction. Hooks up to window great, would be another pro, but maybe if it was on dash it would be less obstructive.

I've got a Nuvicam in my Ram and it's excellent, got zero complaints on it. If it died I'd buy another same day. The cam is useful for road recording of course, has a remember button on the top, you can use it for lane departure warning if you want but i don't. It also incorporates the forward camera in navigation by showing you which building you're coming up on for an address, and it wirelessly connects to a reversing cam which is cool if your Ram didn't come with one. Garmin's the best offline nav and the best dedicated nav on the market - for those of you in the East yeah we've got a lot of land out here with no service no matter who your carrier is, plus I just have a personal preference for standalone nav for about the same reason you usually don't make dinner with a leatherman :)

In my other truck the nav situation is different so I put a DDPAI Mini2 in it. Great video quality for the cost and if you just want to let it freewheel (as in, not sit around browsing the films on the phone app) it's really nice and discreet. Has a wireless button you can mash to save the last minute or so of footage if you see something crazy you want to review later. Overall I like it a lot, especially since it's not too expensive. Would buy again. Only complaint is the app is kind of stupid but after setting it up the first time you can delete the app and never use it again.

My wife's car has an A118C which happens to fit really discreetly in her car, but I don't really care for its function much. Screen is annoying every time it starts, makes a weird "crystal bell" noise when it starts up. Takes OK video but reading license plates is not so easy unless you're right up their tailpipe.
