Hey everyone, I'm bringing this here cause I just can't seem to get a hold of Diablosport in the off time I have... So I bought a Predator P2 platinum for my 04 5.7l Ram a while back, immediately wound up with a botched Diablo tune. Guy on the phone said the P2 platinum tunes do not work for the 04 models, he said the i3 is the one. The truck was returned to stock tuning asap. So here I am now, I wanna sell it to help fund an i3. I know most tuners get "vin locked" upon use, and the P2 is a single vin device. Do I have to pay to remove my vin from the tuner? If not, how do I remove it? In the Update Agent, the "vin lock" reads "stock", as well as the "tune level", which is correct. But it still clearly lists my vin. Any help at all would be super cool.

Got home finally, plugged the tuner in to double triple check if my tune is "stock" and it's absolutely stock. Yet the "vin lock" section reads my vin number. Like I said, the update agent also says I'm stock. I'm very confused.

If your PCM has been completely returned to stock, the tuner is going to list your VIN as the last one it connected to until it is connected to another vehicle.

I really appreciate the response. That makes sense, I'm just trying to make sure I don't sell this thing to someone who can't use it. Thanks!

Best way to verify it is if you have a buddy with a compatible truck, plug it in, don't do anything and see what it says.
