Im sure a tiny handful of you have read my frustrating experiences with my 03 2500 5.7 truck - ive been trying to figure out terrible overall fuel economy and performance for the past 3 years. Well I finally did the 05 ECU swap and the truck was driving 100000 x better on the stock tune!!! Well it did for 5 days despite having egr and o2 codes -

Well I popped on a $90 ebay 90mm TB - yesterday to replace my stock one. It ran AWFUL - idles around 1300, sounds like its misfiring, has no power, throwing codes.. Well nothing i tried yesterday could bring the truck back to its former state. 7 hours of stuffing around - tried numerous times to put old one back and just get it to the previous state - no luck!
Fwiw i used the BBK instructions for relearning the TB/TPS..
I now pretty much have a permanent P2111 (and sometimes p2112) code which I never had before.. any idea what on earth could have caused this situation?
