I have a 2020 Laramie diesel 2500. I bumper tow a 8000 lb camper with an 1100 lb tongue weight. I used to tow the same rig with a 1500 chevy Silverado, once I put air bags on it they helped a lot with the “bucking” on bad roads. On the ram I use the Anderson WD which I love, but I still have a bit of rear sag and more bucking then I had on the Chevy with bags.
Will bags help in this case?
thanks

Yes air bags will take the sag out and firm up the ride for towing.

Air bags are fairly inexpensive. They're pretty easy to install. And they work. Nobody likes a saggy rear end.

I sure hope that you mis-stated when wrote BUMPER HITCH

You should be using a frame mounted Class 4 Hitch at least

I meant to say “bumper tow”. Yes, stock frame mount hitch.
